Lists Exercise: Ordered Lists

This is a simple ordered list of my friends:

1. Abbie
2. Mary
3. Allan
4. Chris
5. Jim

This is an ordered list (with lower case letters) of furniture:

1. Bed
2. Chair
3. Desk
4. Table

This is an ordered list (with upper case letters) of buildings:

1. House
2. Store
3. Office
4. School

This is an ordered list(with small Roman numerals) of vehicles:

1. Cars
2. Trucks
3. Vans

This is an ordered list (with upper case Roman numerals) of sports:

1. Baseball
2. Volleyball
3. Soccer
4. Hockey

This is a definition list about things on my desk:

Book

an object that contains numerous pages of paper with words printed on them

Pen

a thin cylindrical object, usually about five inches long, which is filled with ink and is used for writing

Pencil

similar to a pen, except that it has a graphite tip, rather than ink
